Life-Lube And The Path To Enlightenment


Hey there. Jay Uecker here from the Network Life Center in Louisville, Colorado. I'm here at a retreat center called DKD. It's about three and a half hours south of Denver on I-25 and then you come west into the foothills and there's these little cabins that are nestled in the foothills.

I've been in one of these cabins for the last eight days progressing myself along the path to enlightenment I guess you could say. Really the path to enlightenment, the life path, the healing path it's all the same thing. Life is doing that too us automatically. We're all on healing path, we're all on the life path, we're all on the path to enlightenment whether we know it or not, whether we acknowledge it or not. Life is constantly trying to put our true self to the surface as opposed to the part of us that we... our sort of survival self. The survival patterns that we've adopted from a very early age the minute we came into this world so life is constantly sort of pushing our true self to the surface. That tends to create some friction between our true self and our survival self coming to the surface.

That friction shows up as the tension in your body, the tension in your life, the tension in our relationships. When we bring our attention to that that attention catalyses that it helps it metabolize that friction. It's lubricates that friction. It's like life-lube. So I've been here for the last eight days applying copious amounts of life-lube. Meditating and doing different practices.

Basically that's what we're doing at the network life center too. Is through entrainments or through meditation class or through the one on one somatic coaching that I do, what we're doing is inviting you to bring your attention to what's happening, to the life process, the healing process, the process of enlightenment. It's happening whether we are aware of it or not or whether we engage it or not and when we do it lubricates that. It makes it easier. It speeds it up. Makes that process a lot easier.
